Strange Moments in Sports Fandom: The Permanent “I”
There’s being a fan, and there’s being as passionate about your team o’ choice as the folks are in the image above. No need to adjust the settings on your computer, this is indeed the strangest O-H-I-O you’ve ever seen.
From the site:
“Now Dad is the permanent “I”"
Long time fan who was always the “I-O”, is forever the permanent “I”. Roy Miracle was shown in an OSU turtle neck that he loved, and holding the position that he loved! The rest of the long time fans are from left to right, Ann Robinson, Juli Miracle, my Dad (Roy Miracle), and Rick Ives.
It’s bizarre, it’s disturbing, it’s wrong, and somehow I can’t turn away. The Big Ten may not be known for their speed or their BCS Championships of late, but clearly they have a leg up on the over-the-top fan moments, at the moment.
Not sure this is necessarily a good thing, but the title is theirs.

I can imagine this being “It’s not crazy, it’s sports” ESPN commercial.
True college football fans are like that. Ohio State followers should be proud of their dear departed bound for that big football field in the sky. I’m a rabid LSU devotee and I bleed purple and gold.
