Mississippi State Embraces The Hashtag for The Egg Bowl

By Adam Kramer   Nov. 21, 2011

The Egg Bowl is this weekend, and while both teams have had an incredibly disappointing 2011 seasons – one of which will be looking for a new head coach – the Mississippi/Mississippi State game is always exciting regardless of records.

And while the 2011 Egg Bowl will give Houston Nutt one final time to pull a final Ole Miss rabbit out of his hat, the Mississippi State field crew is showing that they are embracing technology (well, Twitter) in their end zone creations for this upcoming weekend.

Welcome to a world where hashtags are indeed featured on football fields. #HAILSTATE

I would LOVE to see Ole Miss embrace a #GIGGITY end zone look, although it appears that’ll have to wait until Houston Nutt’s next gig.
