Floyd Mayweather is known for many things – mainly his boxing – but he’s also notorious for sharing his winning bets on Twitter. These bets are larger than your bets, and he NEVER loses according to his tweets. It’s amazing, really. He’s The only individual to win every bet he takes, and he then show them off.
Although we question his public betting record, the size of Floyd’s bets are indeed impressive, and he’s made some sizable plays throughout this bowl season.
He concluded this season on a high note, betting a cool $400,000 on Alabama to beat LSU at halftime. When you make a bet, typically the book takes a small a small amount for fielding it. When Floyd Mayweather makes a bet, this percentage impacts his payouts a bit more and he ends up paying $67,000 in juice.
We can question his record all we want, but betting $400,000 on a sporting event is borderline madness regardless of your current financial situation. And technically, Floyd, you didn’t “win” 400k, although it was certainly a good night at the window.
