Creating Our Own Madness: The Finished Product

By Adam Kramer   Apr. 03, 2012

March Madness is over, which means our simulated 64-team college football bracket is also complete. And would you look at that, Alabama is indeed your 2012 champion in this exercise.

ANOTHER NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP PAWWWWWWL. RTR!

For those new to this, here’s what I did. We seeded the top 64 college football teams (based on last year’s result) and placed them in different regions. Then, using the results from the actual tournament, we filled out the bracket accordingly. The result was a fair amount of hate mail from people thinking I was the one making the selections, and another solid ‘Bama run.

Congratulations to Alabama on their 1,345 title.

So Alabama wins because they were in the same spot on the bracket as Kentucky. Got it. Couldn’t you have just skipped the bracket and just “declared” it so? Oh wait…
