Ohio State Kicking Drills, Where You Can Take a Football to the Face

By Adam Kramer   Apr. 16, 2012

Urban Meyer really is playing up the whole “Circle of Trust” thing.

On Saturday, the Ohio State football team scrimmaged in front of more than 3,000 fans (their spring game will be played this upcoming weekend), and tested out a new pressure scenario for kicker Drew Basil. The fans surrounded Basil on the field, who was then forced to kick field goals without killing anyone.

For the record, I believe this exact setup would be a wonderful foundation for a reality TV show where regular folks take turns kicking field goals. In the end, they will likely just hit those standing around them in the face or groin, which means MASSIVE RATINGS AND SPONSORS AND OMG MONEY FOR ME.
