NCAA ’13 Ratings Revealed, Let’s All Remain Calm

By Adam Kramer   Jun. 06, 2012

The NCAA ’13 demo is out (playing with De’Anthony Thomas is like playing on speed, by the way) and now some ratings have made their way onto the interwebs.

Tradition Sports Online has shots of some of the rosters including USC, LSU, Ohio State, Michigan and others on their site, and they also have all of the team ratings (which have not been confirmed) listed below. Yes, we’re confirming/non-confirming/reporting on video game rating, but don’t act like you don’t care.

We can only assume that these are sponsored by The Longhorn Network, because holy hell apparently Texas is really good in the ol’ virtual world. Maybe a booster paid off EA or something that you could totally see happening.

      James Franklin thought Vanderbilt would have a higher prestige score based on the wives of his assistant coaches.

      I’M TAKING TULSA ALL THE WAY TO THE BCS, BABY!

      Boise St with a 6 prestige, really? I have a BIG problem with that especially when Florida St. is a 5 and I hate FSU but you can’t ignore the history. Their as big as any of the other 6 rated schools, if not bigger in most cases….

    4. Daniel
      6/6/12

      And by big I mean prestige not size.. I had to write this because there will be at least one moron who writes “their not talking about size”……

      How is Cal’s defense a 76 after leading the Pac in total D for two years, while Washington’s defense that was terrible a year ago is now an 86? Talk about shafted!

    12. Al
      6/9/12

      Wow after the complete down fall of the Miami Hurricanes a 6 for prestige and FSU gets a 5. Somebody on staff is not a big Noles fan. Im a Bama fan at heart but I also like to see the Noles do well. Really surprised by the speed rating of Karlos Williams and Lamarcus Joyner those dudes can flat out scoot. Bama is pretty accurate

      Oh and nothing new this year by EA as far as quality of game play. EA is slowly going down hill with its product

      I am an auburn/ Sec fan… And I think boise state has earned some respect over the years by beating georgia and other teams but i dont think they’ve earned enough to be in the same class with Alabama , USC, or Oklahoma. (and oregon etc.) if Boise is there why not FSU?

      Al they’ve added tons to the gameplay

      So your saying that oregon’s defense is just as good as alabamas? And their offense will be just as good as it was last year with out their starting qb or one of the greatest running backs to go through that program? hmmmm sounds legit to me. Just dont understand some of the ratings.

    18. K RoB913
      6/29/12

      @Cooper W
      The bears D was keeping them in games as long as they could this past year because the offense could never get it rolling. Definitely agree with you with their defensive rating being horrible.

      @Cooper W
      Oh well, I’ll just have to edit the D to their proper rating come July 10

      I will preference by saying I am a FSU fan first, but really?? a prestige of 5.? They just landed a top 2 recruiting class 2 straight years and are loaded with talent. Top athletes go to the most prestigous schools…

    24. Jason
      10/4/12

      Oh yah, and as for ratings, FSU landed the 2 fastest players outta the recruiting class that have olympic caliber speed and what does EA give them…a 93 each, lmao, they’re both faster than Demps was at Florida who got a 99 each year. Do some basic homework fellas….
