Video: Down goes the Cincinnati trumpet player

By Adam Kramer   Sep. 06, 2012

We learned a few things on Thursday night as Cincinnati and Pittsburgh threw down.

First, Pitt is not a very good football team, and 2012 is going to be a looooooong season for the Panthers. We pretty had an idea this would be the case after their loss to Youngstown State, but these thoughts were indeed confirmed.

Next, we found out that being in a band can be dangerous, and you have to be able to think on the fly – much like a team itself – if things don’t go as planned.

This Cincinnati trumpet player found this out first hand as he stumbled during the presume routine, and he lost an important piece of his instrument.

It didn’t matter, however. The show went on and his dedication was clear.
