Video: James Franklin takes on Alabama, ‘Nicky Satan’ at high school

Vanderbilt head coach James Franklin hugs, is the proud owner or a superb business card, and he also knows how to stir the pot a bit. Alabama fans, just a heads up: you’ve been stirred.

While speaking at a Georgia high school, Franklin tackled Nick Saban in the most James Franklin way possible.

He talked about how he’s going to “outwork him” each and everyday, sure, but that’s not what will be enjoyed on Alabama message boards for the next few days. Dropping in “Nicky Satan” casually, however, certainly will. Yes, that’ll do it.

It’s James Franklin’s world, we’re just along for the ride. Also, “S-E-C, S-E-C, S-E-C.”

  • Video: David Fangupo, the FAT GUY TOUCHDOWN savant

If you need a break from Manti Te’o and NCAAageddon, please feel free to pull up a chair and a cold beverage of choice and have a seat. You’re going to want to, trust me.

Let’s talk about David Fangupo, an offensive lineman who also plays running back. In terms of FAT GUY TOUCHDOWN potential, we’ve basically entered an exquisite wormhole and we’re never going back.

The BYU blog Vanquish the Foe pointed this out as there seems to be interest, and you can see why. They also included video of the 6’2” 350-pound Oh-back (a position I just made up for him), and it’s pretty much amazing. Seriously, the big dude can move.

You’re a 6-star recruit in our heart, Fangupo. No doubt about it. Also, kudos to whoever decided to title this ‘David Fangupo Long Runs.’ Great hustle.
