Photo: Steve Spurrier gives thumbs up, we give it right back

By Adam Kramer   Jul. 18, 2013

Steve Spurrier is just like you, only he makes post-SEC Media Days visits to fast food chains look like a scene out of Mad Men. Either that or perhaps some post-wedding, 2 am visit that ends up in a $27 order for one. Those are just the best.

The image below was posted on Jadeveon Clowney’s Instagram - which really makes this whole thing that much better - and it should probably serve as the cover for all college football preview magazines created between now and the end of time.

Notice the small child in the background just reading away. Young man, you are missing out on history and your father is going to hold this over you forever. Tough break.

Why is Steve Spurrier giving the thumbs up? Is it just the casual, “Oh hey look, a camera” reaction? Did he just score that weekly tee time he was been craving? WHAT DID HE ORDER?

Perhaps it’s best we don’t know the context. Let us just appreciate this moment in time.

Gonna make an educated guess that it’s an Arby’s. The most obvious clue that they serve Pepsi products and none of the other major fast food chains that carry Pepsi (ie the yum brands stores) would require a selection of condiments. Also, Spurrier just looks like a guy that enjoys a roast beef sandwich.

It is an Arby’s. You can see the logo on the cup.

    10. To help you get through this recession it’s really worthwhile tring to exhibit your goods or services at a trade show or exhibition with eye-catching exhibition banner stands. An alternative to a pop-up stand is the banner stand.
