We could dazzle you with matchup statistics on Alabama’s defense and LSU’s play-making ability, but frankly the hype surrounding TigerBamaGeddon became somewhat exhausting three weeks ago. Also, that requires a fair amount of work.
Instead, we’ll let an animated GIF bottle our excitement for us. This one comes courtesy of the the magnificent CuppyCup and features Nick Saban in one of our favorite movies of all time. We’re not saying that this matchup will play out like the sequence below, but you just really, really need to watch this.
On Monday, Alabama head coach Nick Saban got a parking ticket.
You’ve most likely had one before, hell, we all have, but when the head coach of one of the nation’s top football teams get in trouble with the law, you’re probably going to hear about it.
Actually, that’s never ever been the case before, but this thing called “Twitter” is pretty wild. It covers events AS they happen and even predicts the future and stuff. In this instance we even got word that this event was taking place while it happened.
Although from all accounts Nick Saban wasn’t present when his car got ticketed, a hidden camera which was positioned at the scene of the crime says otherwise. Big props to @Jkm4au for capturing this all on tape.
Clearly a suspension, loss of scholarships and a 15-year bowl ban is in his future.
It’s tough being a college football reporter these days. Steve Spurrier won’t allow you in the room, Art Briles is intercepting your questions, and now Nick Saban has decided to join the campaign.
While Saban’s relationship with the media has always been interested to say the least, on Monday he let the room hear it once again when being asked questions that didn’t really warrant such a response.
Although the entire video will give you full Saban feel, things heat up more so at the 2:30 mark. And yes, we can confirm that Nick Saban “could give a shit about all that.”
