I am SO PROUD of this headset.
Here’s a piece of memorabilia that would be a wonderful addition to your college football collection. Wouldn’t you just love a worn, signed, and broken headset from Iowa State head coach Paul Rhoads? I imagine you’re already tempted.
Here’s the description from the Cyclones’ auction site.
This one of a kind, unique piece of Cyclone autographed memorabilia comes directly from Iowa State’s victory over the then fifteenth ranked TCU Horned Frogs last Saturday. This headset was worn by Coach Rhoads during the TCU game. The headset is broken but it is signed by Coach Rhoads. This headset comes with a certificate of authenticity. Minimum bids and bid increments do apply.
Now, this has been up for a while now and the broken headset actually came against the team’s win over TCU. And, we believe it came on this play where Paul Rhoads basically goes all “COME AT ME, BRO” at the official following a bad call. Either that or maybe he went throw a few headsets on this day.
Bidding will be open until 4:25 eastern on Thursday, which means you still have ample time to add this baby. As of Monday afternoon, the top bid was at $375. That’s a steal if you ask me.
